Based on the iconic story, this spectacular stage show tells the devilishly delicious tale of young golden ticket winner Charlie Bucket and the mysterious confectionary wizard Willy Wonka.

When Charlie finds one of the five golden tickets to the Wonka Chocolate Factory, Charlie and the other winners can’t wait to feast on the sweets of their dreams. But beyond the gates, they discover more than just remarkable edible delights. As they embark on an extraordinary journey through Willy Wonka’s marvellous mind, they soon learn that nobody leaves the same way that they arrived…

Featuring memorable songs from the iconic 1970s film as well as a host of new numbers, this sensational musical is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses taking you to a world of pure imagination.

Recommended for ages 6+. The estimated running time is around 2 hours 10 minutes (including a 20-minute interval). 

Our academy productions feature student actors from Simply Theatre Academy. Professionally directed, they stretch young talent to deliver electrifying performances. All Simply Theatre shows are in English.  Every child over the age of 2 must have a valid ticket. Under 2’s who do not require their own seat are free.
