Godspell

This energetic and exciting rock musical is set around the story of friendship, loyalty, and love, and features a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz, the Grammy and Academy Award-winning composer of Wicked.

A group of strangers are brought together from their everyday lives to form a community and to follow and learn from Jesus. They form a roving acting troupe that enacts the parables through various theatrical traditions such as clowning, pantomime, vaudeville, song and dance.

As one of the most enduring shows of all time, Godspell has entertained and touched the hearts of countless theatergoers all over the world and has most recently finished a hugely successful run on Broadway. Filled with popular hits such as ‘Day by Day’, ‘All Good Gifts’ and ‘We Beseech Thee’ performed by our Performing Arts Company students, this promises to be a joyous musical experience for all ages.
